The Jefferson, 900 N Taylor Street, Arlington.
Directions to The Jefferson & Monument Meeting Room:
The Jefferson is tucked into courtyard off North Taylor St. I recommend using a Google Map or other GPS to avoid missing the turn off Taylor St.
Coming from Glebe Rd and Fairfax Drive. Turn right onto Taylor (Truist Bank is on the corner. Turn right at the Ballston Market between 2 small stone pillars with the Jefferson name on them.)
Drive under the porte cochere (covered entry with big Jefferson sign on it), and immediately (about 50 feet) turn left into the underground garage (there’s no parking sign).
Take a ticket from the console as you enter. Drive down the ramp; turn left.
Look for a parking space marked “VISITOR.” You may have to go to the 3rd level (P3) where visitor spots are readily available.
Park. Bring your parking ticket with you.
Enter the West Elevator Tower. Pick up the phone on the wall between the elevator doors, which will automatically dial the receptionist, who will activate an elevator for you. Take the elevator to Floor 1 and check in at the reception desk immediately to your left.
Receptionist will validate your parking ticket. You enter your name on the key pad at the desk to generate a Guest ID.
Take elevator to Floor 2. Monument Room is to the left.
7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. – Reception welcoming interested residents from The Jefferson
7:30 p.m. – 100 Women Meeting (hybrid with members via Zoom, as usual.)
